“Portia Playground: Seeking Beauty - Sharing Joy”
My full name is Mary JoAnne Corrigan, but please call me JoAnne.
I have a BA in Theatre Design and Production from York University in Toronto. I worked in professional theatre for 11 years before returning to school for my LL.B at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. I then worked as a lawyer/trust officer for 25 years.
Now I am exploring my life long passion for photography and sharing it with the world. I wanted a business name that reflected my diverse background. I chose Portia, a Shakespearean character who is also a lawyer, and added Playground for pure joy.
